Building materials company alleges unpaid bills

A Galveston County building company is suing a local construction venture, alleging it owes them more than $30,000.

Bohn’s Building Materials filed a lawsuit June 10 in the Galveston County District Court against C5 Construction Inc. of Willis and Conroe, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, in early 2014 Bohn’s began providing building materials to C5 Construction and C5 was to timely pay Bohn’s for providing and delivering building materials to various properties. The suit says on Feb. 18, 2015, the counsel for Bohn’s sent a demand for payment to C5 for the full amount of all unpaid invoices, yet the defendant has not responded to counsel or remitted payment.

Bohn's Building Materials seeks the balance due of $32,811.25, plus court costs and attorney fees. The business is represented by attorneys Christopher Johnson and Julie Berkshire of Lyons & Plackemeier in Texas City.

Galveston County District Court case number 15-CV-0585.
