Davis was dispatched to the Fuentes home on Sept. 6, 2013 to repair an air conditioner. He was told that the unit is on the side of the home. When he went to the side of the home he was allegedly confronted by a dog and bit in his arm. He needed emergency medical care.
The lawsuit states that the dog owners were negligent by not warning Davis that there was a vicious dog in the area and by not removing the dog. The lawsuit also claims that according to Galveston County Animal Services Local Regulation 13 a dog should always be in immediate control of a person or in a secure enclosure.
Davis is seeking damages over $200,000 but less than $1 million.
He is represented by Houston attorney James Juranek.
