IBERIABANK sues Dexa Systems, individual, alleging default loan

IBERIABANK is suing Dexa Systems Inc. and an individual, alleging default loan payments.

IBERIABANK filed a lawsuit Aug. 10 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas, against IBERIABANK and Mehrzad Mahdavi.

According to the complaint, IBERIABANK loaned promissory notes of $1.25 million on June 18, 2014, and $400,000 on April 18, 2012, to Dexa. Mahdavi entered into a guaranty agreement connected to these notes, the lawsuit says.

The suit alleges Dexa and Mahdavi have been and continue to be default of their payments as of the loan's maturity oMarch 31, 2015.

IBERIABANK seeks damages, plus attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys George R. Gibson and Spencer D. Solomon of Nathan Sommers Jacobs in Houston.
