A Spring man is suing his former employer over claims of unpaid overtime wages.
Dustin T. Hayek filed a complaint Aug. 31 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against AIMM Technologies Inc. and Brooks Bradford Sr., alleging unpaid overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
The complaint states that while Hayek was employed by the defendants as an operator/technician earning $14 per hour from March 25, 2014, to Oct. 5, 2014, he was not paid time-and-a-half for overtime hours worked.
Hayek seeks damages for unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, and attorney fees and court costs.
