A Beaumont mat manufacturer is suing a construction company, alleging an unpaid balance.
Quality Mat Company of North Dakota filed a complaint July 23 in Jefferson County District Court against Mountain Peak Builders, alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, starting in September 2014, Quality Mat sold certain goods and services to Mountain Peak Builders at an agreed-upon price. The suit says the defendant still owes the plaintiff approximately $81,000.
Quality Mat seeks a judgment in the full amount of the debt, interests, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Heather L. Blackwell and Kerwin B. Stone of Moore Landrey in Beaumont.
