A Galveston County woman is suing two Dickinson residents over a vehicle sale and additional loan she alleges she hasn't been paid for.

Kay Patterson filed the suit Oct. 16 in Galveston County District Court against Cheryl Moon and Johnny Moon, both of Dickinson.

On June 25, 2013, the complaint says, the plaintiff entered into a purchase agreement with the defendants for her RV Sportsmen Travel Trailer. She also loaned the defendants $3,000 for fixtures and furniture installed inside the trailer. Although the loan has been paid down to $2,000, the suit says, the defendants have not made timely payments for the vehicle, which still total $15,456,77.

As a result, the plaintiff seeks the return of her property.

Patterson seeks attorney fees, actual and consequential damages and court costs. She is represented by attorneys Richard A. Simmons and Andrew S. Krone of Waldron & Schneider in Houston.

Galveston County District Court case number CV-0075184.
