Two Texas men are suing two businesses and an individual, alleging they have not been paid for labor performed.
Kevin Bongio and Carlos Martinez filed a lawsuit July 2 in Galveston County District Court against Martha Maloney of Allen, CTMGT Hidden Lakes and Megatel Homes II, alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, Bongio agreed with Maloney to perform labor including framing and layout, which Maloney would pay for. The suit says Martinez agreed with CTMGT and Megatel to perform labor, including painting, trim, carpentry, and cleanup, which CTMGT and Megatel would pay for.
The suit alleges the plaintiffs provided the goods and services that the defendants accepted but have failed to pay for. The lawsuit says Maloney owes Bongio $6,300, CTMGT owes Martinez $14,500, and Megatel owes Martinez $35,000.
The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of less than $100,000, including attorney fees and court costs. They are represented by attorney Javier Marcos Jr. of the Law Offices of Marcos & Associates in Houston.
