A Longview woman is suing a car dealership, alleging it did not pay her overtime.

Linda Williams filed a lawsuit Nov. 4 in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas against High Hopes, doing business as Heritage Mitsubishi, alleging unpaid overtime wages and failing to maintain accurate work records in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The suit alleges that since Williams began working at Heritage Mitsubishi in Longview as a warranty administrator in January 2002, she was not paid an overtime premium for time worked more than 40 hours per week. The suit also alleges the defendant failed to maintain certain records regarding the plaintiff's work.

Williams seeks to recover unpaid overtime, liquidated damages, equitable relief, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by attorney William S. Hommel Jr. of Hommel Law Firm in Tyler.

Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas case number 2:15-cv-01711-JRG-RSP.
