Trucking company alleges Inland Environmental owes hauling fees

HOUSTON – A Wisconsin trucking company is suing a Columbus oil and gas waste company, alleging delinquent fees of more than $142,000. 

Schwerman Trucking Co. of Milwaukee filed a lawsuit Dec. 11 against Inland Environmental and Remediation Services Inc. of Columbus in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas, alleging breach of contract. 

According to the complaint, Schwerman Trucking provided Inland Environmental with services and paid expenses on an open account and these services and expenses were invoiced on a regular basis. The suits says the principal balance owed is $142,796.13, after giving credit for any amounts already paid by Inland Environmental. 

Schwerman Trucking seeks the outstanding amount, plus interest and attorney fees and a trial by jury, It is represented by attorney Daniel L. Fulkerson of Lorance & Thompson PC in Houston.
