Texas subcontrator seeks $61,587 for Galveston water main project

GALVESTON – A Texas subcontractor is suing a general connector, alleging money owed for work on a water transmission main project in Galveston. 

Tandem Services LLC filed a lawsuit on Dec. 15 against Murphy Pipeline Contractors, Inc. and Berkley Insurance Company in Galveston County District Court alleging a breach of a contractual relationship.

According to the complaint, Murphy Pipeline Contractors, as general contractor for a water transmission main project on Calder Road, hired Tandem Services to perform labor and/or provide materials during January and February 2015.

The suit says Murphy Pipeline owes $61,587.

Tandem Services seeks the money owed, pre-judgment interest, attorney fees, costs and post-judgment interest. It is represented by attorneys Dennis J. Albright and Kathryn A. Lumpkin of Albright & Lumpkin PC in Houston.
