Former Hays Electrical Services Inc. employee seeks allegedly unpaid wages

HOUSTON – A Harris County electrician is accusing his former employer and its manager/owner of not paying overtime.

William Wood filed a complaint on Feb. 16 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Hays Electrical Services Inc. and Eric Hays, citing violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Oct. 16, 2015, and Dec. 24, 2015, he worked for Hays Electrical Services Inc. and did not get any overtime pay for working more than 40 hours in a work week.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all unpaid wages and all recoverable expenses and attorneys' fees. He is represented by Thomas H. Padgett Jr., Charles L. Scalise and Daniel B. Ross of Ross Law Group in Bellaire.
