California business alleges Reef Exploration owes money

GALVESTON — A California oilfield company is suing a Texas petroleum exploration business, alleging failure to pay for work completed.

Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations Inc. filed a complaint Feb. 18 in Galveston County District Court against Reef Exploration LLP alleging, failure to pay for work invoiced. 

According to the complaint, between April 7-10, 2015, Baker Hughes provided services to Reef Exploration by leasing out machinery and other supplies. The suit says the defendant refused to pay invoiced amount for the services and materials rendered.

Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations seeks compensation for the principal amount of $27,729.67, all recoverable costs and legal fees. It is represented by attorneys William R. Sudela, J. Daniel Long and Elizabeth A. Harris of Crady, Jewett & McCulley LLP in Houston.
