Employee alleges Accent Food owes him overtime

HOUSTON — An employee is suing a food services business, alleging failure to pay overtime. 

Richard L. Johnson filed a complaint lawsuit Feb. 19 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Accent Food Services LLC, alleging the defendant refused to pay overtime wages.

According to the complaint, between June 2015 and December 2015, Johnson was employed by Accent Food Services, LLC and did not receive payment for overtime in weeks when he worked more than 40 hours. 

Johnson seeks overtime wages and damages, plus all legal fees and a jury trial. He is represented by attorneys Vijay Pattisapu and Josef F. Buenker of The Buenker Law Firm in Houston.
