Slip02

GALVESTON – A Galveston County woman has filed suit against a pharmacy after she claims she tripped and was injured while shopping at the location.

Gwendalyn T. Beason filed a complaint on Dec. 10 in Galveston County District Court against CVS Store No. 6834, CVS Pharmacy Inc. and Caremark LLC, citing negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 14, 2015, she suffered body injuries when she tripped over a protruding metal pallet in one of the aisles of the premises. The plaintiff holds CVS Store No. 6834, CVS Pharmacy Inc. and Caremark LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide warning to plaintiff about the pallet and failed to maintain the premises.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages, medical expenses, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just and proper. She is represented by John Arthur Daspit, Robert Morse and Kiernan McAlpine of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
