Premrl Construction accused of breach of warranty

Construction

GALVESTON – Two homeowners have filed a suit against a construction company alleging poor workmanship on a project on their home.

Chris and Caron Walior filed a complaint on Dec. 17 in Galveston County District Court against Premrl Construction LLC, citing alleged breach of contract and breach of warranty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they entered into a contract in August 2014 with the defendant to demolish a sunroom on their home and construct a master suite. They allege the work had defects, including an unlevel floor, incomplete painting and other issues. The plaintiff holds Premrl Construction LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to honor the warranty period both parties agreed on.

The plaintiffs seek the following: monetary relief of more than $100,000 but less than $200,000, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just and proper. They are represented by David E. Cowen, Chris C. King and Amanda D. Wright of McLeod, Alexander, Powel & Apffel PC in Galveston.
