Former employee alleges Fieldwood Energy did not pay overtime wages

HOUSTON – A Houston business is facing a class-action lawsuit from a former employee over allegations it did not pay overtime wages.

Myron Leboeuf filed a class-action lawsuit on March 16 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Fieldwood Energy, citing violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week but did not receive any overtime pay for those hours. The plaintiff holds Fieldwood Energy responsible because the defendant allegedly refused to pay its employees overtime pay for hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just and proper. He is represented by Charles W. Branham III and Corinna Chandler of Dean Omar & Branham LLP in Dallas.
