Mechanics allege they were not paid overtime

HOUSTON – Two Harris County man allege that thay were not paid overtime for their work as a mechanic by their former employer.

Fredrick Hines and Fletcher Simpson filed a complaint on March 24 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Siberia Houston LNA LLC, doing business as Expro Auto Collision & Repair Center, also doing business as Expro Auto Storage and Expro Auto Towing; Expro Auto Sales & Rental LLC, doing business as Expro Auto Sales and doing business as Car Ex Auto Sales; Ahmad Bichr; citing violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per work week but did not receive any overtime pay for those extra hours worked. The plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiffs one-and-one-half times their regular rate of pay for their hours worked in excess of 40 hours per work week.

The plaintiffs seek the following: compensation for all damages, unpaid overtime wages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by Mark Siurek and Patricia Haylon of Warren & Siurek LLP in Houston.
