Business owner alleges Galveston man failed to pay for work

GALVESTON — A business owner is suing a Galveston man, alleging breach of warranty and failure to pay for completed work.

Alfredo Del Valle of La Marque filed a lawsuit March 30, in Galveston County District Court against Courtney Glasscock of Galveston, alleging the defendant failed and refused to pay for completed work in accordance to their contract.

According to the complaint, on April 13, 2015, Del Valle suffered damages and financial loss to his business due to non payment. The plaintiff alleges Glasscock refused to pay the $9,850 for remaining work performed even though Del Valle submitted a detailed invoice for the labor and materials used for the project.

Del Valle seeks trial by jury, monetary relief of up to $100,000, all damages, plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Armando A. Diaz of Law Office of Armando Diaz in Houston.
