BEAUMONT – A Nederland woman is facing allegations that she has defaulted on a student loan.
National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-2 filed a complaint on April 14 in the Jefferson County District Court against Stephanie Cruz citing breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Cruz has allegedly failed to pay the full amount of the loan and despite demands by plaintiff in September 2015, no further payments have been made.
The plaintiff seeks all damages in the amount of $35,687.98, interest from March 31 until date of judgment at the applicable rate, post-judgment interest at the maximum rate, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just.
