HOUSTON – A former employee alleges that Houston company failed to pay its field operators and filed supervisors overtime wages.

Shelby Brown filed a complaint on behalf of others similarly situated on April 28 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Production Testing Services Inc. and Robert A. Hoff citing violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Alaska Wage and Hour Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between March 27, 2015, and March 14, he worked for more than 40 hours per work week without receiving any overtime pay for all those hours. The plaintiff holds Production Testing Services Inc. and Hoff responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay their employee overtime wages for hours worked over 40 per work week as defined by the FLSA.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, liquidated damages equal to a percentage of the aggregate underpayment of wages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by John David Hart of Law Offices of John David Hart in Fort Worth.
