HOUSTON – A Florida corporation is suing two Texas companies alleging they have not paid for equipment and supplies.
GPM Industrial Inc. filed a complaint on April 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas against
PDVSA Services Inc. and Bariven SA, doing business as Bariven Corp., citing breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it contracted with the defendants for the purchase of industrial supplies, equipment and machinery. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly have not paid for the purchase and have refused to pay plaintiff despite several attempts by the plaintiff to collect.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks full amount owed $4,213,351.07 plus interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just.
