Harris County man alleges he was wrongfully terminated by Fluor Federal Global Projects

HOUSTON – An African-American man claims he was terminated by his employer after allegations of sexual relationships.

Felix Brown filed a complaint on May 4 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Fluor Federal Global Projects alleging sexual and race discrimination.

The suit states that the plaintiff accepted employment with the defendant in 2012 for work in Afghanistan. According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was accused of having sexual relations with two male subordinates and of the misuse of U.S. mail handling procedures. The suit states this allegations resulted in his wrongful termination in May 2014. The plaintiff holds Fluor Federal Global Projects responsible because the defendant allegedly accused plaintiff without providing plaintiff the opportunity to defend himself.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment of back pay plus interest, punitive damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Dasean A. Jones of Jones & Associates PLLC in Houston.
