GALVESTON — A Louisiana man is suing a Friendswood repair shop, alleging breach of contract in failing to fix his motorcycle.

Demond Norris of Lafayette, Louisiana, filed a lawsuit May 13 in Galveston County District Court against George Gooch and George's Auto & Motorsports in Friendswood, alleging breach of warranty and breach of contract in failing to complete repairs on the plaintiff's motorcycle.

According to the complaint, Norris' 1999 Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle was not properly fixed by the defendants despite the plaintiff paying $16,000 for repairs. The suit says the plaintiff had to pay another $10,000 to have the cycle fixed at another shop.

Norris seeks a trial by jury, monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000, all damages, interest, legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Denise S. Young of The Law Office of Denise S. Young, PLLC in Houston.
