GALVESTON  — A Tomball woman is suing a Texas City truck business, alleging it failed to prevent the theft of her vehicle while it was being repaired.

Erika Victoria Eriksson filed a lawsuit May 13 in Galveston County District Court against Thalji Enterprises Inc., doing business as Five Star Auto and Truck of Texas City, alleging breach of warranty in failing to keep a customer's vehicle safe within its premises.

According to the complaint, on June 4, 2014, Eriksson's truck was stolen while waiting to be repaired at Five Star. The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to keep her vehicle secure.
