HOUSTON – A California corporation alleges that a shipping company failed to deliver a shipment in good condition.

Pacific X Auto Corp. filed a complaint on April 26 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against the vessel YM Eternity alleging negligence, breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Jan. 16 and Feb. 23, it suffered damages as a result of its cargo of automotive parts being damaged due to shipping. The plaintiff holds the YM Eternity responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep plaintiff's cargo safe during shipment.

The plaintiff seeks all damages, interest, costs, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Robert C. Oliver and R. M. Sharpe Jr of Sharpe & Oliver LLP in Houston.
