HOUSTON – A solids control consultant alleges his former employer did not pay him overtime wages.
Jeremy Chaisson filed a complaint on June 1 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against MudTech Services LP alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between March 2013 and June 2014, he worked for more than 40 hours at a given workweek but was not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds MudTech Services LP responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime compensation to plaintiff in violation of the FLSA.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid back wages plus liquidated damages at an equal amount, unpaid benefits, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Michael A. Josephson, Lindsay R. Itkin, Andrew W. Dunlap and Jessica M. Bresler of Fibich, Leebron, Copeland, Briggs & Josephson in Houston and Richard J.
