Galveston County man accuses co-owner of breach of contract

GALVESTON — A Galveston County man is suing the co-owner of a business, alleging failure to perform contractual obligations.

Dilipsinh J. Zala filed a lawsuit June 15 in Galveston County District Court against Ravindra K. Patel and three other members of the defendant's family, alleging breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation.

According to the complaint,Zala sustained financial damage as a result of their $2.63 million debt with Golden Bank. The plaintiff alleges Ravindra K. Patel refused to cooperate with plaintiff regarding the renewal modification of their loan with the bank.

Zala seeks judgment requiring the defendant to perform his agreement with the plaintiff, damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Thomas W. McQuage of Houston.
