Portable building provider alleges Galveston County woman owes $2,700

GALVESTON — A portable building provider is suing a Galveston County woman, alleging she owes more than $2,700.

Graceland Properties LLC filed a lawsuit June 2, in Galveston County District Court against Jan Morgan, alleging breach of contract. 

According to the complaint, Graceland suffered monetary damages of $2,730.58, which remains due and outstanding for the construction of a garden shed. The plaintiff alleges Jan Morgan is refusing to pay the balance due under the agreement signed in December 2013.

Graceland Properties seeks a trial by jury, judgment of $2,730.58, pre and post-judgment interest, possession of the subject building, attorney fees and any other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by attorney Mark W. Stout of Padfield & Stout LLP in Fort Worth.
