HOUSTON — A Conroe-based equipment provider is suing two Western companies, alleging they owe more than $800,000.
Bauer-Pileco Inc. filed a lawsuit July 12 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Scheffler Northwest Inc. of Vancouver, Washington, and D.J. Scheffler Inc., of Pomona, California, alleging failure to comply with their rental contract agreements.
According to the complaint, Bauer-Pilco suffered monetary damages because the defendants' account were never fully satisfied and remained in arrears from its inception in the amount of $841,184.64. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have failed to make full rent payments owed under the contract signed Sept. 28, 2011.
Bauer-Pilco seeks a trial by jury, judgment due under rental contract totaling $841,184.64, plus interest, attorney fees and collection costs, pre-judgment and post-judgment interest and any other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by attorney Tom Van Arsdel of Winstead PC in Houston.
