HOUSTON – An international contractor with its principal place of business in Harris County is seeking a restraining order for a website operated by an individual and company based in Nigeria.

Dragados Offshore USA Inc. and Dragados Offshore SA filed a complaint in Harris County District Court against Prince Douglas and Dynamics International alleging fraud, slander of title, tortious interference and misappropriation of name or likeness.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the defendants are operating a website that claims to solicit employees for the plaintiff. The suit states that the defendants require applicants to provide personal information and pay fees, believing they are filling out job applications for work with the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs hold Douglas and Dynamics International responsible because the defendants allegedly made false representations and used the plaintiffs' names for their monetary gain.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants for actual damages, temporary restraining order, permanent injunction and pre- and post-judgment interest. They are represented by Paul Simon and Rachel Berkley of Simon Herbert & McClelland LLP in Houston.
