School operators, shareholders accuse Houston residents of fraudulent transfer

HOUSTON — School operators and shareholders are suing two Houston residents, alleging breach of fiduciary duty.

Sabrina Wozniak-Jellison, Brian Dea, U.M.A. Taekwondo-Hapkido Inc. and U.M.A. Taekwondo-Hapkido 2 filed a lawsuit Sept. 23 in Harris County District Court against Beanie Choi and Christopher Peterson, alleging failure to to comply with the settlement agreement.

According to the complaint, as a result of defendants' conspiracy, the plaintiffs sustained damages for not receiving profits and any financial compensation. The plaintiffs allege Choi and Peterson participated in the unlawful transfer of all assets of plaintiff corporation to themselves or to companies they control.

The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, costs of court and all other relief to which they are entitled. 

They are represented by attorneys Charles M.R. Vethan and Joseph Colvin of The Vethan Law Firm PC in Houston.
