GALVESTON — A Galveston County woman is suing Kemah apartment operators, alleging their negligence led to the plaintiff sustaining injuries.

Cassandra Segoviano filed a lawsuit Oct. 4 in Galveston County District Court against Venterra Realty Management Company Inc. and VR Park at Waterford Limited Partnership, alleging failure to warn and failure to maintain their premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 3, Segoviano sustained injuries to her neck, back and other parts of her body when she tripped and fell on a broken transition board at The Park at Waterford Harbor Apartments in Kemah.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to correct the unreasonably dangerous condition and failed to inform her of the dangerous condition on the premises.

Segoviano seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between  $200,000 and $1 million, plus pre- and post judgment interests, all costs of court and all other relief. She is represented by attorneys John Arthur Daspit and G. Brandon Schilter of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
