HOUSTON — A Houston woman is suing a Houston country club, alleging its negligence led to her suffering injuries.
Nancy Petrucciani of Houston filed a lawsuit Oct. 21 in Harris County District Court against Northgate Country Club Management LLC, also known as Northgate Country Club and John Doe, alleging Northgate failed to exercise ordinary care to protect its guests.
According to the complaint, on Oct. 3, 2015, Petrucciani was attending tennis drills conducted by Northgate Country Club when, suddenly, John Doe backed into her causing her to fall. The suit says Petrucciani sustained serious injuries that resulted in physical pain, mental anguish, scarring and disfigurement, loss of earning capacity and loss of enjoyment of life.
The plaintiff alleges Northgate failed to properly screen the tennis players and students involved in the drill, failed to provide safe protection for participants and failed to provide a safe environment.
Petrucciani seeks trial by jury, monetary relief of more than $1 million and all other relief to which she is entitled. She is represented by attorney Keith M. Fletcher of Simmons & Fletcher PC in Houston.
