SHERMAN — A Grayson County woman is suing a psychology professional association in Sherman, alleging discrimination retaliation and constructive termination.
Patricia French filed a lawsuit Nov. 10 in the Sherman Division of the Eastern District of Texas against The Applied Psychology Group of Texoma PA, alleging the defendant disregarded the plaintiff’s state-protected rights.
According to the complaint, during French employment with the defendant, where she was the oldest employee by nearly 20 years, she was verbally abused and harassed almost on a daily basis. The suit says she was constructively terminated in retaliation for her filing a charge of discrimination with the EEOC.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant subjected her to unlawful harassment, age discrimination, retaliation and constructive termination.
French seeks trial by jury, injunctive and declaratory relief, reinstatement with with back pay, compensatory, punitive and liquidated damages, with interest, court costs and all equitable relief deemed proper.
