GALVESTON — A Texas husband and wife are suing Galveston County restaurant operators, citing alleging they owe up to $1 million for breach of agreement and guarantee.
Ronald Lindquist and Nancy Lindquist filed a lawsuit Nov. 23 in Galveston County District Court against Papa Mamma Amore LLC and Claudio Sereni, alleging they failed to perform their contractual obligations.
According to the complaint, in July 2013, Ronald and Nancy Lindquist made certain loans to Papa Mamma Amore that were guaranteed by Sereni for $474,041.60. These loans were subsequently amended and restated in a document named the amended and restated secured promissory note and loan agreement, the suit says.
The plaintiffs allege the defendants failed to repay the loan and Sereni violated the non-solicitation and non-competition provisions of the agreement.
The Lindquists seek trial by jury, monetary relief between $200,000 and $1 million, permanent injunction, pre- and post-judgment interest and all other proper relief. They are represented by attorney Andrew D. Weisblatt of The Weisblatt Law Firm LLC in Katy.
