HOUSTON — A Harris County oilfield services company and its shareholders are suing the managing director, a legal firm and an accounting firm, alleging they owe more than $1 million for wrongful business practices.

Drillog Inc., Dustan Chukwemeka Onyekwere, Martin Ugochukwu Umeh and Koffi Euloge Kassi filed a lawsuit Nov. 28 in Harris County District Court against Obi Raphael Ekezie, Grace Law Firm, Ojay M. Grace and Forster C. Duru CPA Inc., alleging Grace and Duru assisted Ekezie's misdeeds.

According to the complaint, between Jan. 21, 2008 and July 31, 2014, as a result of the defendants wrongful acts, the plaintiffs suffered actual damages and other losses in excess of $7 million.

The plaintiffs allege Ekezie diverted company's funds for the benefit of himself and his relatives, failed to disclose and/or obtain approval for loans to himself from the company and refused to fully account for funds he received from the company.

The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, monetary relief of more than $1 million, attorney fees, court costs and expenses, pre- and post-judgment interest and all other just relief. They are represented by attorney Al Odom of Schiffer Odom Hicks & Johnson PLLC in Houston.
