Cruise 03

GALVESTON — A Galveston homeowner is suing a Texas City plumbing service, alleging defective design and construction.

Stephen Robert Lewis III filed a lawsuit Nov. 23 in Galveston County District Court against Daniel Ron Gogle, individually and doing business as Gogle Plumbing, alleging violation of the Texas Residential Construction Liability Act.

According to the complaint, as a result of Gogle's negligence, Lewis sustained substantial damages to his home at 1112 17th St., Galveston. The plaintiff alleges Gogle Plumbing failed to properly design, construct, and install plumbing fixtures in his master bath and failed to exercise reasonable care in obtaining information.

Lewis seeks trial by jury, monetary damages up to $100,000 and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney S. Benjamin Shabot of Simpson, Beeton, Shabot & McConnell LLC in Galveston.
