GALVESTON — A Richmond company is suing Santa Fe contractors, alleging the defendants owe $100,000 for breach of contract.

Design & Construction Ink filed a complaint Dec. 2 in Galveston County District Court against William James Title II, and Glassmasters of Santa Fe, alleging failure to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, on April 22, Design & Construction entered into a contact with defendants for the demolition of existing storefront windows and framing at the Angleton Market in Santa Fe and for the installation of two new bullet-resistant entrance doors and paid $10,108. To date, the suit says, the defendants have not completed the work as contracted.

The lawsuit states the plaintiff has had to employee other vendors to complete the work.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants have defaulted on their obligations by failing and refusing to complete the work as specified in their contract.

Design & Construction Ink seeks trial by jury, monetary relief of up to $100,000, costs of court, pre-judgment interest, attorney fees and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorney Cris A. Rasco of Rasco Law Firm in Texas City.
