HOUSTON - Harris — A Dallas County fastener distributor is suing a former employee, alleging breach of a non-compete confidential agreement.
Primesource Building Products of Irving, Texas, filed a complaint Dec. 19 in Harris County District Court against Samuel Sprague, alleging the former employee violated the Texas Uniform Trade Secret Act.
According to the complaint, as a result of Sprague's breach of contract, Primesource suffered irreparable monetary harm and damages. The plaintiff alleges Sprague wrongfully took and used Primesources' confidential information and accepted employment with the plaintiff's direct competitor.
Primesource Building Products seeks trial by jury, judgment for actual, consequential and special damages in an amount to be determined by the jury, attorney fees, court costs and expenses and all other equitable relief.
