Worker accuses former employer of sexual harassment

HOUSTON — A Harris County woman is suing a Houston company, alleging a hostile work environment, retaliation and sexual harassment.

Nicole Bell filed a complaint Jan. 3 in Harris County District Court against Kellogg Brown & Root LLC, alleging violation of the Texas Labor Code.

According to the complaint, as a result of the defendant's discrimination, Bell resigned her employment June 1, 2016, causing her to suffer economic and non-economic damages. The plaintiff alleges Kellogg Brown & Root subjected her to adverse employment actions, sexual harassment, discriminatory treatment, retaliation and termination.

Bell seeks trial by jury, monetary between $200,000 and $1 million, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court, and all other proper relief. She is represented by attorney Gregg M. Rosenberg of Rosenberg & Sprovach in Houston.
