TYLER — A Whitehouse woman is suing a local health care system, citing alleged unlawful employment practices.
Jennifer Lee filed a complaint on Jan. 10 in the Tyler Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System, Trincare Inc. and Robert Jehling, alleging they subjected her to discriminatory practices.
According to the complaint, Lee alleges that a result of the defendants' actions and/or omissions, she suffered damages for sexual harassment, mental anguish, loss of earnings and benefits, humiliation and injury to reputation. She holds Christus Trinity Mother Frances Health System, Trincare and Jehling responsible because they allegedly failed to take prompt remedial action, instituted a campaign of retaliation and ultimately denied and/or revoked her employment for opposing discriminatory practices.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, reasonable and necessary legal costs , prejudgment interest and further relief. She is represented by Darren Grant and Matthew B. Flanery of Grant & Flanery PC in Tyler.
