MARSHALL — A Longview woman is suing Frontier Logistics, LP, citing allegedly insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

Doundra Davis filed a complaint on Jan. 19 in the Marshall Division of the Eastern District of Texas against Frontier Logistics, alleging that defendant's driver negligently operated the defendant's vehicle.

According to the complaint, Davis alleges that on Feb. 22, she was carefully driving northbound in the outside lane on Loop 281 when Francisco Junco, who was driving a Freightliner tractor trailer owned and operated by defendant, side-swiped her vehicle. As a result, she suffered severe injuries and mental anguish, incurred medical expenses and lost earnings. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because the company negligently entrusted its vehicle to a careless driver.

Davis requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, economic and compensatory damages in an amount in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court and further relief as plaintiff may be entitled to receive. She is represented by Keith Miller of Law Office of Keith Miller in Tyler and Blake C. Erskine of Erskine and McMahon, LLP in Longview.
