HOUSTON – A Houston area pizzeria faces a sexual harassment lawsuit from a female employee, per recent Houston federal court records.

Court papers filed against Houston Pizza Venture Restaurant Group, doing business as Papa John’s Pizza, claim that Crystal Humphreys experienced unwanted advances from a male co-worker since the Papa John’s location at 25118-A Grogans Mill Rd. in The Woodlands hired her in 2015.

Per Humphreys, she reported the employee to her general manager to no avail. She further asserts that she was sexually harassed again early last year, this instance supposedly having occurred in the presence of the store’s assistance manager.

The defendant is accused of tacking back a promotion and a raise from the plaintiff in retaliation of her complaints.

A jury trial is requested.

Attorney Dasean Jones of Houston is representing Humphreys.
