GALVESTON — A Houston man is suing an independent executor of an estate, alleging negligence led to the plaintiff suffering injuries.

Brian Andrews filed a complaint March 22 in Galveston County District Court against David Blomstrom, independent executor of the estate of John Jordon, deceased alleging failure to make the premises safe.

According to the complaint, on March 27, 2015, Andrews was an invitee on the property of Jordon when he was injured due to defendant's negligence. The suit says Andrews incurred necessary medical expenses and suffered physical and mental pain and physical impairment.

The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to remove the defect or to provide warnings around the defective area.

Andrews seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between $100,000 and $1 million, plus interest, costs of court and all other relief. He is represented by attorney Michael A. Fisher of Dyment & Fisher in Houston.
