Worker alleges ADT's negligence led to being electrocuted

HOUSTON — A Harris County woman is suing ADT, alleging its negligence led to her being electrocuted. 

Latonia Fontenot filed a complaint May 8 in Harris County District Court against ADT Security Services LLC, alleging failure to comply with the safety building codes.

According to the complaint, on May 19, 2015, Fonetnot was electrocuted when she attempted to turn on a power box, resulting in severe bodily injuries that caused her to suffer pain and suffering, mental anguish and loss of earnings. 

The plaintiff alleges ADT Security Services failed to properly install and maintain the equipment.

Fontenot seeks trial by jury, damages within the jurisdictional limits of the court, interest, costs of court and all other relief. She is represented by attorney Roddrick D. Murray of Law Office of Roddrick D. Murray in Houston.
