Waterfront Solutions accused of not performing contract after allegedly receiving payment

GALVESTON — A Galveston man is suing Robert Bruce Trost Jr. d/b/a Waterfront Solutions, a Texas company, citing alleged breach of contract.

Narendra L. Patel filed a complaint on April 26 in the Galveston County District Court, alleging that the defendant failed to build a floating dock after receiving payment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was damaged financially from the defendant not fully performing the contract. Patel claims that the cost of the construction was $22,973, and that he would pay the amount in three installments. The plaintiff alleges that construction never started, even after he paid the defendant $13,400.  

The plaintiff seeks actual damages of no less than $13,400 plus pre- and post-judgment interest, court costs, attorney's fees and other relief to which the plaintiff is entitled. He is represented by Kyle L. Dickson and Clay J. Heald of Murray Lobb PLLC in Houston.
