HOUSTON – A man alleging a pipe fell on his head because of unsafe working conditions is seeking more than $1 million in damages for his injuries.

Miguel Rios-Soto filed suit against Eagle Energy Holdings on May 5 in Harris County District Court.

According to the petition, on Dec. 17, 2016, Rios-Soto, was working for Bull Dog Oil Well Service at an oil well site owned and controlled by Eagle in Luling. While Rios-Soto was on the site, he was severely injured when pipe casing fell directly on his head.
