HOUSTON – A Houston woman alleges she was injured because of the hazardous condition of a Houston Parkway property.
Ammie Lee Williams filed a complaint on May 11 in the Harris County Circuit Court against Sweetwater Point, Sweetwater Point Limited Partnership, and The Lynd Co. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 29, 2015, she fell because of slick, high-gloss paint used on a ramp at the defendants' property. As a result, Williams claims she suffered physical injuries, loss of physical capacity and extensive medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Sweetwater Point, Sweetwater Point Limited Partnership and The Lynd Co. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to make the walkway reasonably safe, failed to warn public of the defects in the walkway and failed to inspect the premises.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages of more than $50,000, together with pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and such other relief to which plaintiff may be entitled. She is represented by Michael C. Howard in Houston.
