HOUSTON – A Pasadena woman alleges that a doctor failed to protect her from pain and suffering.
Amelia Green Trim filed a complaint on May 30 in the Harris County District Court against Joseph C. Hsieh MD alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that after undergoing neck surgery with defendant on May 7, 2014, she has suffered continuing pain, swelling and tenderness around the surgery area. After follow-up visits in 2015 and 2016, the plaintiff alleges continues to suffer physical and mental pain, infection and medical expenses. The plaintiff holds Hsieh responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly follow-up and monitor plaintiff's condition to prevent and protect her from pain and infection.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual, economic and non-economic damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and all other lawful and equitable relief. She is representing herself.
