Winstead announces newest team members

HOUSTON – The national business law firm Winstead PC recently announced several new additions to their team.

Shae Keefe, an experienced litigation attorney, joined Winstead’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Houston office.

Keefe’s practice focuses on business litigation and disputes involving business, employment, commercial, insurance, injury-related and eminent domain/condemnation matters in both state and federal courts.

She also has extensive experience in toxic tort litigation and was most recently with Kane Russell Coleman Logan, PC.

David Odom, an experienced patent attorney and electronics engineer, joined Winstead's Intellectual Property Practice Group as Of Counsel in the Dallas office.

He most recently practiced with McDermott Will & Emery.

Jeff McPhaul, a securities and transactions attorney, has joined Winstead's Corporate, Securities/Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group in the Dallas office.

His practice focuses on representation of public and private companies in connection with public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private equity and venture capital transactions, entity formation, corporate governance, federal and state securities law compliance (including public reporting and disclosure obligations) and general commercial transactions.

He most recently practiced with Munck Wilson Mandala.

Jeff Bates has joined Winstead's Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group as in the Austin office. His practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate, including the sale, acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing and development of office, retail, industrial and energy facilities.

He was most recently with Strasburger & Price LLP.

 

Winstead has offices in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio and The Woodlands.
